Master’s Papers Award


 

In celebration of the 2025 World Congress on Kinesiology and Sport Science (2025 WCKSS), we are pleased to announce the Master’s Papers Award (MPA) to recognize and encourage the research efforts of master’s degree holders in the field of kinesiology and sport science. Please see the guideline below for details on abstract submission and award eligibility.


   
2025 WCKSS Organizing Committee

o REQUIREMENTS

 

• Open to researchers who have obtained a master’s degree within the past two years and six months (January 1, 2023 – June 30, 2025). 

• Must be the primary author of an English-language abstract submitted for an oral presentation. 

• Must select the Master’s Presentation Award (MPA) category during the abstract submission process. 

• Must upload a certificate of master’s degree conferment dated within the eligibility period.

 
 
 

o AWARDS

 

• 1st Place: ₩800,000 + Certificate 

• 2nd Place: ₩600,000 + Certificate

• 3rd Place: ₩400,000 + Certificate 

• 4th Place: Certificate 

• 5th Place: Certificate

 

o REGISTRATION

 

• MPA Registration Period: May 1 - July 31, 2025

• Abstract Submission Period: May 1 - July 31, 2025

• Abstract Categories:

-  Sport nutrition, metabolism & obesity

-  Socio-cultural analyses of sport & physical activity

-  Sports medicine, athletic training, exercise rehabilitation, & adaptive medicine

o PRESENTATION

• Submission Period: August 11 - 31, 2025

• Oral

-  Preliminary Round: 10 minutes (8-minute presentation + 2-minute Q&A session)

-  Final Round: 11 minutes (8-minute presentation + 3-minute Q&A session)
