In
celebration of 2025 World Congress for Consensus of Kinesiology and Sport
Science in conjunction with the 9th ASK annual meeting, 2025, we would like to cordially invite you to the 2nd International K-POP Group Exercise Contest,
2025, in Jeju, Korea.
This
event is a competition to provide opportunities to promote health and improve
quality of life through fun group exercise for 3-7 minutes with K-POP. The
group exercise program must be designed for participants to exercise safely
while enjoying the K-POP song and rhythm. All participants are responsible for
getting medical check-ups in advance before participating in this competition.
The
preliminary round will be judged on the submitted video. Only those selected
will compete for final round on-site. We strongly encourage your participation
in this competition so that we can develop a habit and reap the benefits of
performing physical activities through fun and enjoyment!

and abstract through the online registration form provided by the organizing
committee (online registration form link to be announced).
- All teams should send their performance
video to the email provided by the organizing committee once they complete
their online registration form.
- All videos submitted during the
registration period will be evaluated for the final round.

¡Ø By participating in this contest, you agree
that the ownership of the videos is transferred to the Asian Society of
Kinesiology (ASK). You may find the video footage on the website operated by
the ASK.

Preliminary and Final
¡¤ Preliminary:
All videos submitted during the
registration period will be evaluated on June 6 (Fri) - 16 (Mon), 2025. Teams
that qualify for the final round will be contacted by the committee via email
on June 17 (Tue), 2025.
¡¤ Final:
The final round will be held on-site between 6-8 August
2025 (detailed schedule to be announced). Therefore, finalist should prepare
for their departure to Jeju, South Korea.
¡Ø Airfare,
accommodation, and any personal expenses during the final round in Korea will
be borne by the finalists.

Terms and Conditions
1) Participants: All
members should be in healthy condition
2) Exercise duration: 3-7
minutes
3) Team composition: Aerobic
& Anaerobic Exercise Program with 5-20 members
4) Stage measurement: 15 m2
5) Exercise type: Exercise
to K-POP music for a designated time with an intensity that can be performed easily.
It is designed to improve health and physical strength while maintaining the
fun aspect of group exercise.
6) Tools (optional): Exercise
tools or various fitness props, such as balls, bands, dumbbells, clubs,
ribbons, steps, and balance tools can be used. But please use them safely.
7) BGM: Please select Korean songs that are
appropriate for listeners of any age, and lyrics containing swearing, bad words, and
explicit content are not allowed.
8) Dress code:
- Participants
must wear proper clothing: Shirtless or bikini are not allowed.
- Participants
should wear sports shoes during the performance.
¡à Notice
Group exercise programs must be designed
safely so that no damage occurs during exercise. Therefore, all participants
are responsible for receiving a doctor's examination in advance before participating
to prevent accidents during exercise.

Evaluation Criteria
¡¤ Exercise program: composition of
movements suitable with rhythm and musicality of K-POP music, originality,
exercise value and effect, utilization
¡¤ Global Exercise Performance in
preliminaries (video) and finals (on-site/online): expression, proficiency,
unity, safety, interest point
¡¤ Points subject to deduction:
- Matters that violate terms and conditions
- Video submission deadline: When you fail to meet the deadline
for video submissions for the review.
- Prohibition of video file
editing: When you attempt to hide motion mistakes by editing the video: In
case of inconsistency between the video contents and the contents of the final
announcement, points will be deducted from the evaluation score on the day of
the final round.
