Dear kinesiologists and scalars related to kinesiology in the world,

I wish you tremendous success in everything you do in 2016.

On behalf of both Asia Conference on Kinesiology Organization Committee (ACKOC) and Preparatory Committee for Foundation of Asian Society of Kinesiology (PCFASK), I am delighted to inform the foundation of Asian Society of Kinesiology during the 7th Asia Conference on Kinesiology 2016 (ACK2016).

We have held 6 times of Northeast Asia Conference of Kinesiology (NACK) since 2010:

On the 19th of July, 2015, it was declared to carry forward the foundation of Asian Society of Kinesiology during the 6th Northeast Asia Conference of Kinesiology (NACK) in Chiba, Japan. Since then, we have extended the scope of academic exchanges from Northeast Asia to the entire Asia region.

The ACK2016 is going to take place from November 11 to 14, 2016, in Incheon, Korea. The Asian Society of Kinesiology (ASK) also is going to be established during this conference.

The aim of ASK is to provide opportunities for an in-depth exchange of information, experience and expertise within kinesiologists, and to discuss advanced education programs and appropriate certification systems within Asian countries in which the word of ‘Human Movement’ has been using. We wish this idea would be succeeded to the ASK.

Ultimately we are going to consider the direction to integrate various certification programs for example related to NATA, NSCA, and ASCM in USA to cultivate capable kinesiologists through Asian format qualification system, expecting that the kinesiologist will be used internationally as the name of expert in the field of kinesiology: education, sport, health, industry, andso on. Also we believe that our students who are verified ability through new qualification system will be more successful at a job market, which would be wider and wider in Asia.

The ASK’s practical objectives are as follows:

 ● To publish the office journal of the Asian Society of Kinesiology for Research and development of the specialty of kinesiology
 ● To provide policies for public participation in physical activities and sport.
 ● To discuss advanced education programs and appropriate certification systems to improve professionalism, employment environment, and social & economic status of related students and experts.

We know that you are very busy and have many conferences which you interested in, but we want you to be together as speakers in the ACK2016 hosting ahead of establishment of the ASK. Could you consider our request as a pioneer and a leader of kinesiology in the world?
