The Asian Society of Kinesiology (ASK) is planning to conduct a
"General Kinesiologist Certification Exam (GKCE)" starting from 2020
in order to qualify competent Kinesiologists. This exam is organized by the
Board of Kinesiologist Certification (BOKC) approved by the ASK. The ASK hopes
that dates of examination will be scheduled for August, 2020 in some countries
in Asia. These dates will be announced in advance during early 2020. The
registration for 2020 GKCE will be open from March to May, 2020. Candidates who
submit their application forms must take two types of tests: Kinesiology
Knowledge Test (KKT), and Competence Application Test (CAT). If you are

find the schedule of 2020 GKCE assigned by the ASK.

B. Qualification for the Exam: One of the
following requirements is needs to be met.
1. Graduates from universities or vocational
colleges, with a major in the field of kinesiology (including students who expect
to graduate)
2. Completion of at least 21 credits of courses
in university related to the General Kinesiologist Certification Examination
3. More than 3-year work experience in the field
of Health Fitness with the qualifications in the field of Physical Education,
Health and Medical care.

Training, Exercise Training
- Athletic Injuries: Mechanism of athletic Injuries and
Assessment, Therapeutic Exercise, Sports Rehabilitation
- Clinical Exercise: Pathologic Physiology, Exercise
Testing and Prescription, Corrective Exercise
2. Competence Application Test (CAT)
- Health Fitness:
Health Fitness Assessment,
Functional Anatomy Practice, Exercise training
- Athletic Injuries: Functional Anatomical Assessment of
Injuries, Therapeutic Exercise, Sports Rehabilitation
- Clinical Exercise: ECG, Clinical Exercise Testing and Prescription,
Corrective Exercise
* All applicants
for Certified Kinesiologist should be educated by Red Cross before or after
this Exam.
